Social CRM in 140 Characters – Xeesm …making a difference

Social CRM in 140 Characters – Xeesm …making a difference: "#SCRM Empower sales teams 2 strengthen relationships, understand needs, collaborate across company boundaries 4 predictable mutual success.

A lot has been said about Social CRM and what it may be. For some it is just a strategy, for other just some social features to traditional CRM. For some it is about business rules, workflow, processes with social characteristics and for some it is just a reaction to market changes, and then it includes attributes like trust building and loyalty. Do we need yet another definition?"

Wendy's Note (http://www.xeesm.com/wendysoucie): I have recently started using the Xeesm Edge Social CRM Product and am posting my progress and adventures at www.wendysoucie.com. If you want to track some of the conversation do a search on Twitter for #scrm, join the LinkedIn Group Social Media Software Group, or follow Xeequa, the company who developed Xeesm on LinkedIn. You can even subscribe to the Xeesm.com blog to follow the progress.

SMB Madison: Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy has Social Media Success!: "The presentation this month at Social Media Breakfast Madison will carry on our theme of tracking and measuring the success of social media efforts as part of a tactical channel for achieving business goals. Lynn Belken, Social Media and Community Marketing Manager is our speaker.

Have you recently updated an older appliance to save energy and $$ on your fuel bills? You likely tapped into information or funding provided by Focus on Energy. Focus on Energy works with eligible Wisconsin residents and businesses to install cost effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. Its efforts help Wisconsin residents and businesses manage rising energy costs, promote in-state economic development, protect our environment and control the state’s growing demand for electricity and natural gas."

Note From Wendy:
Through their website, microsite for the community, Facebook page, and Twitter profile Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corp which is the organization which runs the Focus on Energy Program for the State of Wisconsin, is getting creative with a tight budget to make sure both consumers and businesses find the information and save money themselves.  They have really increased their awareness and increased the consumers and businesses that access their site and information. They have benchmarked and are tracking what they consider are success milestones.

Come hear this presentation  at Talula Restaurant on May 19th at 7:30 am (registration and networking) and 8:15 start for the presentation. More info at http://www.socialmediabreakfast.com/smb-madison

Lodi Vet Clinic | 2nd Annual Doggie Dash May 1, 2010 | Lodi WI

When I had a chance to talk with the Lodi Vet Clinic staff about how they promoted this event, they told me that Facebook and their website were thought of only at the last minute. They used posters, talking to clients, newspaper, and email.

This is where we need to help change the mindset of people. It takes a lot of legwork to tell everyone through word of mouth about an event. Let's focus on the many to many approach and change the approach to "World of Mouth" to share our stories and information of value through various media. Including pictures, video and text.

I have included my recap of the event with several interviews and of course, pictures of the dogs.
